Alvin Knit : Commercial Interiors

Situated in an industrial area, that houses numerous factories, the brief of Alvin Knit came up, and it was very interesting.

The site engaged in Textiles as their main manufacturing, which included sourcing the raw material, designing and getting it ready for export.

Process :

The overall layout consisted of both the offices, 1. The business head and 2. The designer being on opposite sides of the 60 ft length of the site. The main design ideas that I considered was to not make the space feel too closed off and dull, to create wooden partitions that provide good flow of services for electrical and to not hamper the natural light coming into these rooms.
